Someone can join our Cub Section from 8 Years Old. Beavers who reach this age will start at this age also. Cubs will look at activities in greater detail. So if they did an activity in Beavers the task will be harder to accomplish. Those with no experience do not need to worry as we ensure everyone learns at their own pace.

Cubs once invested will join a pack to work on teamwork and friendship. Older Cubs in the lodge maybe asked to look after a younger Cub to make them feel welcome. Developing leadership skills.

Our Cubs get up to a wide range of activities, including

Exploring the Outdoors

First Aid

Adventurous Activities such as canoeing, archery, climbing

Cubs are led by a Cub Scout  Leader, who will be helped by their leadership team. This would include Assistant Cub Scout Leaders, Young Leaders and Parent Helpers.

Cubs will have the chance to earn many different badges during their time there. The main being the Chief Scout Silver award, this is the highest award a Cub Scout can achieve and is a proud moment for everyone.

Cubs wear Green Sweatshirt along with their groups necker once they have been invested. This will be where the badges will be sewn too once achieved.
